New York Giants Shakeup, Serious Problems Ahead...

1. Why do you think the Giants decided to shake up their leadership roles?

2. Do you think the Giants should have waited until after the season to fire head coach Ben McAdoo and general manager Jerry Reese?

3. Do you believe that the Giants' 2-10 season is because McAdoo and Reese did such a poor job?

4. Now that Eli Manning is starting again, do you believe it is smart to have Manning start at quarterback?

  1. 1. The Giants had no real reason to sit Eli Manning and it was a lousy attempt to switch up the team. The team wasn't doing well but Eli wasn't at fault.

    2. They should have fired them last year. especially McAdoo since he is honestly the worst coach in NFL history.

    3. 100% McAdoo's fault Reese too but McAdoo did such, such a poor job.

    4. I think that he shouldn't have been sat to begin with but since he was I think they should start Webb and see how he does and see if he can play.

  2. The New York giants had a record of 2-9 entering the weekend. They are desperate to start doing well and need to start producing results. Coach Mcadoo knew that his career was on the line so he got desperate and decided to make a big risky change to see if it would work. It did not.

No, I think they have had enough of coach McAdoo, he made a massive change to the team and killed Eli manning 14 year streak of playing. The change he made proved to be the wrong decision and it cost the team a lot of negative attention and another loss. Why wait till the end of the season when you can fire him right now.

I believe they had a big influence on why the team did so bad this year. The former coach tom knew how to run a team and did a good job leading the team to multiple Super Bowl wins. Coach McAdoo proved that he isn't capable of doing that and should be replaced.

Yes. Manning knows what he is doing and knows and knows how the team works better than anyone else in the organization. I believe Eli should finish the season and then maybe look at a new Qb entering 2018 but it depends on who they hire for the coaching staff.

  3. 1. The Giants decided to shake up their leadership roles because of their 2-10 start to the season and how terrible the team’s image was this year. Especially because of the situation with Eli being benched, the entire fanbase was furious with the franchise and were urging the ownership to switch something up
    2. No. After Eli was benched the franchise was spiraling out of control. Fans were planning on boycotting the games until something changed, and John Mara had the sense to do something about it. I think that it should have happened earlier, and definitely not later
    3. I think that injuries definitely played a role, but for the most part Mcadoo and Reese were to blame. McAdoo had no grip on the team, he wasn’t well respected, and he did an incredibly poor job coaching. Reese also made senseless signings and ignored obvious weaknesses to draft players that do not help the team where they need it most
    4. It was never Eli Manning’s fault. He is playing with an o-line that wouldn’t start for any other team in the NFL, and receivers that are used to playing on practice squads. Eli Manning is and always will be a better quarterback than Geno Smith, so yes it is smart to start him at quarterback.

  4. 1. Why do you think the Giants decided to shake up their leadership roles?
I think they did this because the Giants have had an awful season this year when they were supposed to do well. They are 2-10 and even though there have been many injuries that record is still awful for the talent on the team. Ben Mcadoo has been a disappoint and his decision to bench Eli Manning has pushed all the fans and the owners over the edge.

    2. Do you think the Giants should have waited until after the season to fire head coach Ben McAdoo and general manager Jerry Reese?
No I think they did the right thing because of how awful things have gotten. The giants need to change things up and it sends a message that the Giants expect the team to do well to all the players and coaching staff.
    3. Do you believe that the Giants' 2-10 season is because McAdoo and Reese did such a poor job?
I think they played the biggest role in the team doing so poorly. Injuries have definitely really hurt the team but not to the point where 2-10 is an acceptable record.
    4. Now that Eli Manning is starting again, do you believe it is smart to have Manning start at quarterback?
I think it is smart to have him at quarterback because of how loyal he has been to the organization. He deserves to start the rest of the season because even if someone else has the possibility of playing better the team can't make the playoffs. Next season the team could look for another option but Eli deserves the rest of this season.

  5. 1. Why do you think the Giants decided to shake up their leadership roles?
I believe Ben McAdoo benched Eli Manning for Geno Smith in order to use him as a scapegoat for the Giant's underperforming season. Eli should of not been at fault since the entire team is not playing well on both the offense and defensive side of the ball. McAdoo reasoned that they wanted new looks at quarterback since they had a third round rookie that they were hoping could eventually play in the last couple games of the season. However, Geno Smith is not the future of the Giant's franchise therefore this was a bad decision.
    2. Do you think the Giants should have waited until after the season to fire head coach Ben McAdoo and general manager Jerry Reese?
No, I believe they deserved being fired during the season since their performance was disrespectful towards the Giants owners, fans, and the organization. The New York Giants 2-10 record is one of the worst records since the 70s and being the market of New York there is a high demand for excellence.
    3. Do you believe that the Giants' 2-10 season is because McAdoo and Reese did such a poor job?
Yes, Mcadoo lost the locker room and was unable to develop a running game to support Eli Manning. He could not make any adjustments after Odell was injured and their offense continued to suffer. Jerry Reese failed as he was unable to draft a full team. He had to buy a defense as he spend nearly 250 million dollar to secure free agents. His draft picks were pitiful as he couldn't develop an offensive line and many of his picks never spanned out to be effective players in the NFL.
    4. Now that Eli Manning is starting again, do you believe it is smart to have Manning start at quarterback?
Eli deserves to be starting and the way his situation was handed was disrespectful. He is the best chance of winning for the Giants, so he should be the starter. However, I do not think he will be here next season.

  6. 1. Why do you think the Giants decided to shake up their leadership roles?
Because their record was terrible and McAdoo is very unattractive and unpleasant to watch coach. He benched a two time super bowl Qb, and a possible hall of famer because of the lack of play, however this was because of the lack of WR he had around him. It was a difficult season for all, but clearly bad coaching throughout the year.
    2. Do you think the Giants should have waited until after the season to fire head coach Ben McAdoo and general manager Jerry Reese?
No because they needed that guy out of there. He did not help and was a waste of time and space as a coach. They will tank the rest of season and just get high draft pick, and try and rebound next season because when everyone is healthy there is a lot of talent on the roster.
    3. Do you believe that the Giants' 2-10 season is because McAdoo and Reese did such a poor job?
Partially, but they also had no RB1 and lost two superstars to injury. Their top three wideouts all were out for a solid portion of season and two were out the entire season. Their influence on the team was poor and they lost out on having a coach like Coughlin, which really effected them.
    4. Now that Eli Manning is starting again, do you believe it is smart to have Manning start at quarterback?
Yes they need to make him happy again because if not they will lose him after this year because who wants to play for a team that does not believe in him. He should finish the season and continue to play for the organization that has always been behind him, and it was just a bad GM and HC who ruined their relationship.

  7. 1. I feel Ben McAdoo benched Eli Manning for Geno Smith in order to cover up the mishaps of the Giants this season. Eli should of not been at fault since the entire team is not playing well on both the offense and defensive side of the ball. McAdoo reasoned that they wanted new looks at quarterback since they had a third round rookie that they were hoping could eventually play in the last couple games of the season. I was confused by this because Geno Smith has been one of the worst quarterbacks in the NFL in recent years.
    2.
No, I believe they deserved being fired during the season since their performance was so horrible. The New York Giants having a 2-10 record is not what people associated with Giants expect and deserve. The Giants are in one of the biggest cities in the country with one of the biggest support groups, they need to perform.
    3.
Yes. Mcadoo couldn't really grasp control of the team which obviously hurt them in the end. He could not make any adjustments after Odell was injured and they had no primary recievers to throw to which hurt their offense. Jerry Reese failed because he couldn't develop an offensive line and he failed to draft smart/well. Manning needs protection if they want him to perform. As of now, he has none and that really hurts the team.
    4.
He deserves to be starting because even though he has had a bad season, he has been awesome in past seasons. Manning has performed on the highest stage (the super bowl) which is why he knows what it takes to get to the pinnacle of the NFL. He should finish out the season and try to make the most of it. Manning has been the Giants' guy and should continue to be.

  8. 1. Why do you think the Giants decided to shake up their leadership roles?
The Giants franchise is in a desperate situation and was willing to do anything to try and improve the team as fast as possible. The coach and manager can have a huge impact on the success of a team and in firing these two leaders the Giants had hopes of taking a step in the right direction. They were going to fire McAdoo sooner or later so why not fire him now and see if they can improve before the season ends.

    2. Do you think the Giants should have waited until after the season to fire head coach Ben McAdoo and general manager Jerry Reese?
No I think the Giants should have fired them when they did because they really have nothing to lose. The Giants are doing terribly this season and are already out of the playoffs. I think it is smart to see if they can get somebody else in charge and lift the team prior to their last game.

    3. Do you believe that the Giants' 2-10 season is because McAdoo and Reese did such a poor job?
Yes I think it is partly because of them. They play big roles in organizing the team and they must share a lot of the blame if their team is 2-10. However, their poor record is also due to the fact that many of their best players are injured. Although it is not entirely the coaches fault, McAdoo and Reese should still know that they did a bad job.

    4. Now that Eli Manning is starting again, do you believe it is smart to have Manning start at quarterback?
Yes it is smart. I don’t think Manning is the problem, he is a very good quarterback and has proven that with his past accomplishments, like carrying the Giants to two superbowls. I think Manning is struggling because the players on the field have been playing bad, and they are making him look bad. The main priorities need to be improving the other positions like the offensive line.

    ReplyDelete
  9. 1. I think the Giants decided to shake up their leadership roles, by firing their head coach and general manager, due to their 2-10 record despite projections for another successful season. Of course, injuries to star players like wide recievers Odell Beckham Jr. and Brandon Marshall factor into their struggles, but after a successful 10-6 season that led them to their first playoffs in years, there were high expectations for this Giants team that a 2-10 record was far from meeting. After another loss following the Manning benching, which seemed to be the tipping point for the owner, John Mara, it was clear to the ownership that reform needed to be brought to the team. Due to this, GM Jerry Reese and HC Ben McAdoo lost their jobs.
    2. At this point, not at the end of the season, seemed like it was the right time to shake up the Giants' leadership. Already in position for a high draft pick, there isn't much the Giants or new interim coach Steve Spagnuolo can prove, but after benching Eli Manning, a clear tipping point for John Mara, as it was an embarrassment to his team's already embarrassing 2-10 season, support for HC Ben McAdoo seemed to completely fade. This shake up came right at the right time.
    3. I think that there are many factors that, together, led to the Giants' extremely disappointing season. Injury to the main star of the Giants, Odell Beckham Jr., one of the most beloved stars in football, gave way to uninspiring aspirations from a the team. It looked as if the Giants were unequipped to keep up with three strong divisional rivals. Besides countless other injuries to starters, the coaching of Ben McAdoo and managerial decisions of Jerry Reese are a substantial part of why the Giants' season has gone so poorly. It has been clear, since the Giants' first losses, that McAdoo wasn't good at communicating with the players, and had quickly lost the locker room, and Reese was unable to find competent players to fill in as the injuries piled up. The blame shouldn't be completely shouldered by McAdoo and Reese, but there is definitely blame for them to take.
    4. I believe that this move looks weak, but I think it is the right one- Eli Manning, of all the pieces in the Giants' team, seemed to be one of their most reliable players, considering the numerous injuries and weak spots on their offense- there was little reason to believe that taking him from the starting position and breaking his stand of 210 game starts. This move only infuriated fans, both before and after it was shown to be unsuccessful. Interim coach Steve Spagnuolo definitely made the right move by moving Eli back to starter/

  10. 1. The Giants fired Ben McAdoo because he is the worst coach in the NFL and it is really hard to argue that. I hated him as the Offensive Coordinator and I hated him as the head coach. Ben McAdoo is a quitter, he gives up on drives after any penalty is called on his team, and New York fans do not like quitters. Jerry Reese got fired because he would not draft or sign actual NFL O-Lineman. McAdoo told Reese they did not need any help on the O-Line and we saw how genius that statement was week 1.

    2. I never wanted to have McAdoo as the coach anyways and did not watch a game all season because he is a terrible coach and I do not respect him. I am extremely excited to know that he will never wear Giants blue for the rest of his life. I think the Giants should have fired Jerry Reese after the season for the only reason being that he helped them win two Super Bowls.

    3. I think that the Giants have been decimated with injuries so you cannot put all of the blame on McAdoo and Reese. However, McAdoo is the worst coach to ever hold the title Head Coach in NFL history so I''m gonna put 95% of the blame on him because if he was an actual coach like Tom Coughlin, they would be in a much better situation than they are now.

    4. Eli Manning is the greatest QB in Giants history. It is an absolute disgrace to let a second year, 2-9 at the time, coach bench him. Eli has won two Super Bowls and should honestly have more of a say than McAdoo. McAdoo is especially stupid for starting Geno Smith and not Davis Webb. Geno Smith has proven he is not an NFL starter, and to bench the guy that beat Brady twice is a debacle. It probably does not make sense to start Eli at this point because their season is over along with his streak. They should see what they have in Davis Webb, but tell Eli the job is his at the start of the season.

  11. 1. When the Giants fired their head coach and general manager, they needed to make something big happen. They were taking a big risk by firing them. They did it in hopes of making a good choice so they could shake off their losses. Their 2-10 record is not acceptable for them, so they tried to make a step in the right direction. Hopefully, this works out and they can prove they are better.
    2. At this point, they are doing so bad it doesn't even matter. This is a very rough season for the Giants and they should be focusing their attention on getting better as quick as they can to improve their next season. If they are doing this bad they should be already fired.
    3. I think both McAdoo and Reese are to blame for this season. Although there have been other factors such as injuries, a 2-10 season can't be achieved by only these injuries. McAdoo and Reese have have a huge, negative impact on this season and should be to blame.
    4. I think with all Eli has done for the organization, he should be starting quarterback. Although there could be others to replace him, the season doesn't even matter anymore and they should give him the rest of the season to play Quarterback.

  12. 1. Why do you think the Giants decided to shake up their leadership roles?
I think the Giants decided to bench Eli because of the way their season was going. They weren’t off to a good start and they thought it was because of Eli. Although, I think the Giants are aware of their killer mistake after backlash and almost no improvement since Eli was replaced by Geno Smith.

    2. Do you think the Giants should have waited until after the season to fire head coach Ben McAdoo and general manager Jerry Reese?
I do not think the Giants should have waited until after the season. Not much damage could be done to their season because they’re already playing so poorly. A new coaching staff could only help not hurt. Everyone has high expectations from the Giants and I think a new coach will fulfill them.

    3. Do you believe that the Giants’ 2-10 season is because McAdoo and Reese did such a poor job?
Yes, I believe that the Giants 2-10 season is because McAdoo and Reese did such a poor job. Injuries have also made an impact on the outcome of their season but I think most of the blame is pointed towards McAdoo and Reese. The team wasn’t performing well because the coaching was terrible and they didn’t even respect the staff off the field.

    4. Now that Eli Manning is starting again, do you believe it is smart to have Manning start at quarterback?
Yes, because Eli is an amazing quarterback and he has always been a great contribution to the organization. Eli is a better quarterback than Geno Smith so continuing to play Eli would be the best bet for this season. Perhaps next season, the Giants search for a new quarterback.

  13. 1. Why do you think the Giants decided to shake up their leadership roles?

The Giants decided to shake up their leadership role simply because of their terrible season this year. They are 2-10 to start the season and the 2nd worst team in the NFL after being projected 3rd in rankings this year to win the super bowl. Also with the most recent incident with Eli getting benched, it has gave the team a terrible reputation and the locker room has been out of control. The Giants had no choice but to shake up their leadership roles.

    2. Do you think the Giants should have waited until after the season to fire head coach Ben McAdoo and general manager Jerry Reese?

No, I do not think the Giants should have waited until after the season to fire head coach Ben McAdoo and general manager Jerry Reese. They both did a horrible job all season and lost control of the locker room. A 2-10 start to the season is unacceptable for a team with this much talent and both have failed themselves and the team. To wait til the end of the season would have just let things remain uncertain in the organization and to fire them midway through the season made a statement to the team and fans.

    3. Do you believe that the Giants' 2-10 season is because McAdoo and Reese did such a poor job?

I would say McAdoo and Reese are part of the reason the Giants did such a poor job but they should not take the whole blame. Yes, McAdoo did lose control of their locker room, constantly ranted about his players to the media, and benched the Giants franchise quarterback Eli Manning. Reese failed to make any decisions after all these incidents and never got Eli the offensive line he needed. But you have to remember all the injuries the Giants suffered this year for instance-Odell Beckham jr and Brandon Marshall. I think the team has taken a toll mentally this season but will bounce back next year.

    4. Now that Eli Manning is starting again, do you believe it is smart to have Manning start at quarterback?

I do not believe it is smart to have Manning start at quarterback again. First, at this point the Giants should just tank and get a great draft pick and prepare for next year because they're not going to the playoffs. There is no point of starting him again this year and the Giants should test out some of their younger quarterbacks perhaps in David Webb. I do believe it would be smart to have Eli start again next year because with a fully healthy Giants team they can be very dangerous.

  14. 1. Why do you think the Giants decided to shake up their leadership roles?
Ben McAdoo and Jerry Reese have done a terrible job with the giants. People have wanted them gone for a long time. At 2-10, benching Eli Manning was the last straw. The giants organization just couldn't handle another week of having them in power.

    2. Do you think the Giants should have waited until after the season to fire head coach Ben McAdoo and general manager Jerry Reese?
No. I think that they were going to be fired at the end of the season anyways, but after benching Eli Manning, they needed to go immediately. They were embarrassing the program.

    3. Do you believe that the Giants' 2-10 season is because McAdoo and Reese did such a poor job?
They do not take all the blame, but they are definitely a contributing factor. McAdoo got no respect from his players, and Reese was unable to make the calls that a GM needs to make.

    4. Now that Eli Manning is starting again, do you believe it is smart to have Manning start at quarterback?
It is smart to leave him there. He has done everything for the program, and there is no point in benching him during this season. They are not going to make the playoffs anyways. The giants were planning on starting David Webb, but when he was unable to play, Geno Smith got put in the game. Everyone already knew that Geno Smith was terrible. There was no reason to put him in over Manning. Once the Giants recover from injuries that have plagued their team, they will be able to bounce back and have some serious playoff dreams.

  15. 1. Why do you think the Giants decided to shake up their leadership roles?

The giants have been doing far worse than any other teams this year, having a record 2-10 on the season. They needed a way to try and win, and they believed the problem was their quarterback. Although it was controversial, they did it anyways.

    2. Do you think the Giants should have waited until after the season to fire head coach Ben McAdoo and general manager Jerry Reese?

No, because they needed to change things up and get the team used to their new head coach as quickly as possible in order for the team to have a decent chance for next year. The team this year is doing far worse than expected, and they need to make sure that doesn't happen next year as well.

    3. Do you believe that the Giants' 2-10 season is because McAdoo and Reese did such a poor job?

Yes, partially, because there were also lots of injuries for the team at many positions, but at the same time, only winning 2 games says something about the head coach. Firing McAdoo was the right decision for the giants, and their only focus right now should be on the draft and next year.

    4. Now that Eli Manning is starting again, do you believe it is smart to have Manning start at quarterback?

Yes, it is a very good decision to put manning back at quarterback. He has won 2 super bowls and is a much better quarterback than geno smith and many other quarterbacks in this league. JHe should never have been benched in the first place.

  16. The giants has to change their leadership roles because in a big sports city being 2-10 isn't going to cut it. Their record makes them the 31st best team in the NFL (There are 32 teams). Before the season started they were projected to have a deep playoff run. I think benching Eli Manning pushed the Giants over the edge
No I think they made the right decision. Ben McAdoo completely let down the giants organization with the ebassment of a season. The Giants need some new perspective with how to coach their team.
I think Odell being injured played a big role and that Eli is in his Decline but still 2-10 is never acceptable. Especially with the expectations they had. I think a good head coach would be able to have a better record.
Yes because he is better than Geno Smith. The season doesn’t matter anyway since playoff are out of the pitures, Eli has earned the right to start unless a stud comes to New York.

The Giants had no real reason to bench Eli he has been playing fine. It was just a bad attempted by the coaching staff to change up the offense trying to get a good result.

    2.
No. I think they where planing to fire them at the end of the season anyway, but due to Eli Manning getting benched they need to leave the program immediately, they are making the team worse not better.

    3.
Kinda, another main reason is because due to all of the injuries for key players on the team playing important positions. But only winning 2 games for the entire season says something about the coaching staff and what they are doing. Firing McAdoo was a good decision for the giants, they now need to focus on the draft.

    4.
Yes, its a good decision to put Manning back at quarterback, he has won 2 super bowls and has a lot of good experience. He is the only player on the team at the moment who has a shot to help them get some more wins.

They weren't satisfied with their performance and thought that in order to improve they needed to change up leadership roles.
    2. Do you think the Giants should have waited until after the season to fire head coach Ben McAdoo and general manager Jerry Reese?
No there season is already over so there is not much they can lose.
    3. Do you believe that the Giants' 2-10 season is because McAdoo and Reese did such a poor job?
I don't think it is completely their fault but a good coach wouldn't have a 2-10 season even with Odell injured.
    4. Now that Eli Manning is starting again, do you believe it is smart to have Manning start at quarterback?
They don't have any other quarterbacks and Eli has a lot of experience and has been with the giants to two superbowls.

    ReplyDelete
  21. 1. Why do you think the Giants decided to shake up their leadership roles?
The Giants did this because of their record this year. They are 2-10 which is something that never happens in that organization. Although they team has been cursed by injuries, it all comes down to the coaching and how he decides to overcome adversity. Instead of taking the blame that he should've, he put the blame on two-time superbowl champion, MVP, longest consecutive starts record holder, Eli Manning. Eli has done everything to deserve the start for the rest of his career. He is trying the best he can without much talent around him. For these unjust reasons to bench Manning, Coach McAdoo was fired.

    2. Do you think the Giants should have waited until after the season to fire head coach Ben McAdoo and general manager Jerry Reese?
Although it's usually a rough transition for a mid-season coaching change, I think it was a good decision. Ben McAdoo was doing an awful job as the Giants coach for several reasons already explained. He benched a quarterback that has done a great job throughout his career because he couldn't take the blame for his work.

    3. Do you believe that the Giants' 2-10 season is because McAdoo and Reese did such a poor job?
Yes. McAdoo's failure to coach and overcome adversity for a team that doesn't lose like that (2-10) is the reason they have doen so bad. Although there were significant injuries to team, it's ultimately his job to find a way to win and benching Manning wasn't a good plan for that.

    4. Now that Eli Manning is starting again, do you believe it is smart to have Manning start at quarterback?
Yes. He has done all that one can do to earn the starting job. He's a good quarterback when he was talent around him but he has earned the start regardless. The Giant's season is basically over at this point, but Eli is really their only chance at winning. Eli knows how to win in big situations unlike a quarterback like Geno Smith.

I think the Giants tried to shake up their leadership roles due to their 2-10 record going into this past week. The team felt as if the coaching staff needed to change to get back to their winning ways. The team relieved both their coach and their general manager in attempts to end the season on a high note.
    2. Do you think the Giants should have waited until after the season to fire head coach Ben McAdoo and general manager Jerry Reese?
I think the organization had probable cause due to the terrible record and the benching of their long time starting quarterback Eli Manning. The Giants did the right thing in firing the coach and the general manager in attempts to revive the team. They did the right thing based off the position the coaching staff put them in.
    3. Do you believe that the Giants' 2-10 season is because McAdoo and Reese did such a poor job?
I think partially the coaching staff is to blame for the record, however in the end it is up to the players due to the fact they are the only ones who can decide the score on the field. None of the coaches have the ability to go out and play therefore the players should also be held responsible.
    4. Now that Eli Manning is starting again, do you believe it is smart to have Manning start at quarterback?
Yes, Eli has led the team to two super bowl championships and have turned the Giants into a notable franchise in the modern day NFL. It only makes sense for Manning to be the starting quarterback for the Giants.

  23. 1. Why do you think the Giants decided to shake up their leadership roles?

I think the Giants shaked up their leadership role was because they weren’t happy with the scores nor performances. I believe the Giants thought it would help better their scores and performance their leadership changed.

    2. Do you think the Giants should have waited until after the season to fire head coach Ben McAdoo and general manager Jerry Reese?

I don’t think the Giants should have waited until the end of the season to fire their head coach and general manager because if these leaders are not leading their team towards the right path to winning, there should be a change i leadership immediately.

    3. Do you believe that the Giants' 2-10 season is because McAdoo and Reese did such a poor job?

I believe that it is partly because of McAdoo and Reese, but I also think that the massive amount of injuries that have occured this season is one of the other leading factor to this poor performance.

    4. Now that Eli Manning is starting again, do you believe it is smart to have Manning start at quarterback?

I think it is smart to have Manning back at quarterback because he is, in my opinion, the best player for the team. He has performed better than Geno Smith and has won two

  24. When Ben McAdoo understood that he might be blamed for the NY Giants loosing record of 2-10 he needed to try something in order tog et results. Unfortunately he decided to try the unthinkable, benching Manning. He decided to start the Giants back up quarterback, ending a streak of manning starting. He did not get the results he needed and they needed new management.

They should not have waited until the end of the season. If they had waited, it means they have given up, now while they can not make it to the playoffs, they will still fight every game harder than the last. Firing Ben McAdoo and Jerry Reese sent a message to their fans. They have not given up.

I believe that they played a major role in the loosing record of the giants. They did not create a strong offensive line for Eli Manning, not a mobile quarterback, and they were unable to manage the team well.

It is the correct decision to play Eli Manning. He has outplayed Geno Smith countless times and he has more experience. He has won two super bowls and although he might be having a tough season with a weak offensive lien, it is still not his fault.
