  1. 1. Cleary the Yankees got the better end of the trade. It is because of you can get the previous MVP or just the super star in general, then you won the deal regardless of what they gave up. They also got a player that wanted to go to a great organization, which the Yankees are.
    2. Yes, they will.
    3. There is no price for an MVP, he is worth the most money you can give him
    4. Yes because they have to MVP canidates, in which both can change a game in a couple at bats, and win them the ball game on any single night or day.

  2. 1. The Yankees got the better end of the trade because they got a superstar. No matter what they gave up, Stanton is one of the best bats in the league and will contribute to their organization upon arrival.

    2. I think they will go farther than the ALCS because they added a huge piece to their offense.

    3. 265 million is obviously a great sum of money. However, for a player of his quality i think he will really help their organization so it is worth it.

    4. Yes, because Stanton will only add to their success. He won't hurt their team he will only help.

  3. 1. The Yankees definitely got the better side of the trade. Stanton, a NL MVP winner, homerun league leader, and just all around baseball star, will generate many more wins for the Yankees, along with a lot more revenue, than Castro and the prospects the Yankees gave up.
    2. I believe that adding Stanton will bring the Yankees to a higher regular season record, but not necessarily the World Series. I think this because they were just a wildcard team last year, but many teams can make surprises in the playoffs, so I wouldn't exactly count on a better performance in the playoffs, especially after last year's success.
    3. I do believe Stanton is worth 265 million dollars. Just on a demand standpoint, since many teams are willing to pay him that much, he really is worth, as a baseball player, 265 million dollars. His performances on the field substantiate that.
    4. I do believe it was a good idea to add Stanton and switch up the lineup, even after last year's success, since he will generate a lot of attention for the team, and someone of his level, in the place of their average-level 2nd basemen and some prospects, can't really hurt the team.

  5. 1. Who got the better end of the trade?
The Yankees obviously got the better of the trade. Stanton is one of the best players in the league and to get traded to one of the best teams in the league is only more absurd. I think the Yankees will win more games and generate more revenue now that they have Stanton.

    2. With the addition of Stanton will the Yankees go farther than the ALCS this year?
The addition of Stanton will make the Yankees better. He is one of the best hitters in the league and he will be playing alongside Aaron Judge, another great hitter. This can really only improve their record.

    3. Is Stanton worth 265 Million dollars?
Yes. Other teams are willing to pay him that much money and he is obviously a really good player. He will end up generates more revenue also so I think he is worth that much.

    4. Was it a good idea to switch up the Yankee roster after the previous year's success?
It could go either way. I would say switching it up after a year of success is bad but change can be good especially with a really good player like Stanton.

The Yankees clearly got the better end of the trade as Stanton is a premiere player in the National Baseball League, being one of the best home run hitters. The idea of him and Aaron Judge being paired together will be a force in the ALCS.
    2. With the addition of Stanton will the Yankees go farther than the ALCS this year?
I believe this offseason move by the Yankees gives them a great chance of winning a World Series. The Yankees have two the best home run hitters in the NLB and their team just came off a successful season. Also, their new manager Aaron Boone was a good pickup and could help this baseball team be successful.

Yes, Stanton will make the Yankees a ton of money as he will help sell tickets, merchandise, and sponsorships. This was a smart decision by the Yankees from a business and baseball perspective.

Yes, the roster was not good enough to win a World Series. By acquiring Stanton on this trade the Yankees will now be poised to make another playoff push and hopefully win another World Series.

  9. 1. Although the Yankees gave up people like Castro, Stanton is an amazing player and a MLP star. Stanton will generate more wins and more money, so having hi on their team is much better than what they had before.
    2. Yes the Yankees will go further. With this amazing new addition to their team, they will be much better than they have been.
    3. Yes. So far, Stanton has proved himself to be debatably the best batter in the league, 265 million is well worth him.

The Yankees got the better end of the trade. Giancarlo Stanton is one of the best players in the MLB and they got him for less than he was worth.

    2. With the addition of Stanton will the Yankees go farther than the ALCS this year?
I think they will. Stanton provides them with a lot more offense and makes it much easier for them to win games.

  11. 1. Who got the better end of the trade?
The Yankees got the better end of the trade with Stanton. As he said, the Yankees got close enough to the World Series and a playoff run. So hopefully with his addition they will advance to be a better team. He is also the first reigning most valuable player to be traded since Rodriguez joined the Yankees in 2004.

    2. With the addition of Stanton will the Yankees go farther than the ALCS this year?
I think so. Stanton admitted he would prefer to join a winning team and not be the player who has to turn the entire team around. It sounds like he is excited to get better together.

    3. Is Stanton worth 265 Million dollars?
In the end, I predict that Stanton generates over 265 million dollars due to his outstanding abilities. The Yankees are lucky to have him considering almost any other team would’ve wanted him.

    4. Was it a good idea to switch up the Yankee roster after the previous year’s success?
Adding Stanton to the roster may allow the Yankees to win another World Series. He’s one of the best batters in the league so there is no way that he could do any damage. Even though the Yankees were successful last year, their lineup wasn’t as good as it is now.

  12. 1. I believe the Yankees got the better end of the trade because they want to win now and even without Stanton they were a team that made it to the ALCS. I think that although they give up a really good second baseman in Castro, they still get what they need to win now in Stanton.

    2. It is always hard to tell in Baseball because it is an 162 game season so nobody can say whether or not they will make it past the ALCS, however, if all goes right for the Yankees, then yes they have the ability to win the World Series.

    3. No player is worth that kind of money, especially an injury prone Stanton. However thats like 2 million to the Yankees and they get the best power hitter in baseball, so I guess it is worth it.

    4. Teams always switch up their roster in the offseason no matter if they were the worst team in baseball or the World Series champions and Stanton makes the team better so no it was not a bad move.

  13. 1. Who got the better end of the trade?

The Yankees most definitely got the better end of the trade. They got the best player in the deal as Stanton is one of the MLB home run leader and the NL MVP. The Yankees really didn’t even give up much to get him which makes the Yankees even more scarier next season. His impact will have a tremendous effect on the team.

    2. With the addition of Stanton will the Yankees go farther than the ALCS this year?

Yes, Stanton is one of the best players in the MLB and will only make the Yankees even better. With Stanton alongside Judge, you have two of the MLB home run leaders which is creating absurd dominance. The bottom line is that Stanton is only gonna help the team and make them easy contenders for the World Series.

    3. Is Stanton worth 265 Million dollars?

Yes, as I said Stanton is one of the best players in the MLB and deserves 265 million from his performances. He will also gain tons of revenue for the Yankees weather it’s tickets or clothing. Stanton has continued to prove he is the MLB’s most dangerous player and I’m sure any team in the league with the money to pay him would happily pay that price to have him.

    4. Was it a good idea to switch up the Yankee roster after the previous year's success?

Yes, it was a good idea to switch up the Yankee roster after the previous year's success. The previous roster most likely wouldn’t have had as successful season and Stanton will make things much easier. By acquiring Stanton, the Yankees now become serious contenders this year and most definitely one of the dangerous teams in the league.

I believe the Yankees got a much better end of the trade. They got the better player as Stanton is one of the MLB home run leaders and the NL MVP. Also the yankees didn't need to give-up that much to get him allowing there team and line up to be much stronger and successful full next season.

    2.
I think the team will be very successful next season and will go very far. Stanton is one of the best hitters in the league and will provide the yankees offense with a lot homers.

    3.
Stanton is defiantly and good player and will contribute a lot to the team. Also he will help them sell tickets, merchandise, and more people will watch on tv. The only way we will find out if he is worth that much will be how he performs next season.

    4.

  16. 1. I think that the Yankees got the better end of the trade because they received not only an all-star but the NL MVP. They did lose Starlin Castro and now have to pay Stanton hundreds of millions of dollars. But I still think that the Yankees got the better end of the trade.
    2. I think they Yankees might go to the World Series. They now have so much depth on their team and in my opinion are unstoppable. The Yankees made it to the ALCS this year without Stanton and now they have the NL MVP. No doubt in my mind they go to the ALCS.
    3. Yes h is because he might be the key to the Yankees making it to the World Series. In today's day and age, the NL MVP is going to be worth 265 million dollars.
    4. I think that it was a good idea because it is worth trading for the NL MVP.

  17. I believe the yankees got the better end of the trade no doubt. They received a very strong player who was voted all star AND NL MVP. Stanton is one of the leaders for home runs in the series. Losing Stalin castro was not a big deal because of how much better of a players Stanton is.

There is no guarantee that they will go father but I believe if Stanton works well with the rest of the team they will have a better player on deck and can move forward stronger.

Yes. Stanton is a very strong player and has proved himself throughout his time in the MLB. I think he is definitely worth that.

I dont think it made a huge difference. It will help keep the team on there toes and ready for more changes in the future.
